RFID based Animal livestock Tracking and identification are used to track history and movement of farm animals, zoo animals and pet animals. It is necessary to maintain records regarding animal origin, health, nutrition, threat of disease and so on. These records ensure timely and proper feeding, vaccinating and transferring of animals between farms. the adoption of RFID technology which automates and quickens process of feeding, weighing, disease control, subsidies, breeding practices as well as quality and trace-ability assurance.
RFID technology uses electromagnetic waves to uniquely identify animal. A typical RFID system includes a tag (transponder), reader / writer (transceiver), antenna and a host.
1.The tag is used for storing the animal’s unique number and is the data carrier part of the system.
2.he reader / writer (transceiver) is used to write the data to, and read the data from a tag.
3.The reader has an antenna to propagate the waves and receive the signal.
4.The host or an enterprise system saves the data.
