Low Frequency: Low Frequency (LF) RFID operating frequency range from 30kHz ~ 300kHz.  but most LF tags operate on the 125 kHz  or the 134。2 kHz. The working frequency is not restricted by radio frequency control; it can penetrate water, organic tissue, wood, etc.; it is very suitable for identification applications with close range, low speed and less data requirements (for example, animal identification)，reading range normally under 10cm .can use for animals tracking,access control

High Frequency: High Frequency (HF) RFID operating frequency range f 3 – 30 MHz range, but most HF tags operate on the 13.56 MHz . Similar to LF, HF is a type of short range RFID, but transfer speed faster than LF,can use for Access control，payment ect

 

Ultra-High Frequency: Ultra-High Frequency (UHF) RFID operating frequency range from 300 MHz to 3000 Mhz, but most UHF RFID tags operate on the main range of 860 – 960 MHz, This frequency band is carried out by capacitive coupling, and the reading distance can be 1 to 20m. Its signal cannot penetrate liquid and metal, and the antenna is designed with linear polarization and circular polarization, which can meet the needs of various applications. UHF has good reading distance and high data transmission rate, and multiple tags in a very short time.can use for retail, logistics，production control，asset management

2.4Ghz Active RFID operating frequency range from 3Ghz to 30Ghz, but most 2.4G active RFID tags operate on the main range of 2.45Mhz. 2.4G active RFID have Low transmission power consumption, long communication distance, large amount of data transmission, high reliability and good compatibility,but with battery,size much bigger and price much higher,can use for personal tracking,RTLS ect
